Food

Scary Truth About Eating Meat! Dr Michael Klaper (6:15) Mar 13, 2017. Animal foods clog arteries, cause obesity, and increase breast, prostate, and colon cancer risk. Meats (including chicken and fish) high in fat, cholesterol, and protein. Animal protein has more sulfur and is more rapidly absorbed (no fiber) than plant protein, causing calcium from bones to be excreted in urine, and increasing osteoporosis risk.

HOW ANIMAL FOODS ASSAULT OUR BODIES: Dr. Michael Klaper (5:15) May 28, 2020. In general practice 47 years. Common diseases: obesity, clogged arteries, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, inflamed colon, joints, skin. We eat too many calories, burn the sugar, store the fat. Inflammatory cytokines. Atherosclerotic plaque. Plant-based diet quells inflammation and reverses disease. Eat all you want.

Why To Limit Simple Sugars — Michael Klaper MD (5:36) Nov 6, 2013. You’re as old as your arteries. High blood pressure damages arteries (e.g., in the eyes). Eating sugar as a food binds sugar to protein damaging blood, skin, blood vessels, the lens of the eye. Maillard reaction. Advanced Glycation End products. Cataracts. Sugar as a food ages you.

SALT-OIL-SUGAR with Dr. Klaper (3:10) Mar 20, 2018. Many processed and restaurant foods have too much salt. Eating sugar as a food (e.g., cake or a candy bar) oxidizes protein and ages tissues. Use fruit for sweets. Oils (including olive and coconut oil) injure artery walls and are not heart healthy. No other animal pours liquid fat on their food.

Eating Bread – Does Bread Fit Into Your Healthy Diet? (3:55) Nov 9, 2020. Used to eat a lot of bread, not so much anymore. Use romaine lettuce or collards to wrap hummus, tofu salad, carrots, avocado instead of bread. White bread just sugar in a loaf. Heavy dark whole grain sprouted breads much better. High in fiber. Used occasionally.

Beans – Canned Beans vs. Dried Beans, Is There A Difference? (4:36) Oct 11, 2020. I love beans for protein, resistant starch, and nutrients. Canned is good but look for “bpa free” cans. Cook dry beans well to remove lectins. Rinse beans to reduce gas.

Dr. Klaper on Caffeine & Alcohol (2:58) Mar 13, 2018. Used to drink coffee but no more, hard on stomach, stains teeth. Caffeine and green tea appear benign. No use for alcohol. Destroys every tissue it contacts. Raises risk of breast and prostate cancer. Injures your liver, destroys brain cells. There’s nothing beneficial in drinking alcohol.

Nutrients

The Truth About Cholesterol! – Dr. Michael Klaper (6:29) Jan 18, 2018. Cholesterol is necessary for hormones and the brain. Problem is injured arteries, and animal cholesterol piling up in the blood. LDL over 150 and low HDL not a problem requiring statins for a healthy vegan.
